Isn’t it a bit like that? After many years of heavy or light work, you retire at 67. At a rough estimate, you have worked 900,000 days. And sometimes some have become so ill from work that they cannot enjoy the remaining free years and their pension or retirement, because they spend them in the doctor’s waiting room. Or quite bitter it is when the 900,000 days of work were so miserably paid as you did an important, passionate, but precariously paid work. And so the pension is not even barely enough. Too much to die, but too little to live. This is the case in many important, social professions. Hopefully something will change.
